Rocky looking for home

Could you be my forever home?
Hi everybody. My name is Rocky and I am a 4 year old male border collie. I have been with my foster mum Carmel for a long time now but I now have to try and find my ‘Forever Home’. She says I am a very happy, friendly boy and a joy to have and all I want to do is to please. I love people and would do anything for a kind word or a loving stroke. My foster mum spent a lot of time getting me used to coming into her home as I was afraid but now I like nothing better than sitting with her by the fire while she talks to me or sit and look at telly together.

I am very good with the other dogs in our home and don’t mind cats. I am clean in the house and always go outside to go to the toilet.

Like so many other dogs and cats that come into Roscrea SPCA my story was no different. I lived my life on a farm where no one spent time with me and I wasn’t allowed to come into their home. When they decided they didn’t want me anymore they brought me to the vets and the kind people there said they would get me a nice home as I was a young healthy dog and my owners agreed to give me to them. My foster mum says I suffer from car sickness, but with a little patience and a few trips to the park or somewhere nice for walks, she feels I could get better.
I have been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and passported, just in case I ever get a flair for travel! I am good on the lead and would love to live in a home where people are with me most of the time. I would be a great companion for an older couple who like walking or a family. Could it be you?

Please, please, please call my foster mum, Carmel, now – 087 3523115 and she will answer any questions you may have about me.
